BLS For Healthcare Provider

The BLS for Healthcare Provider Course is designed to teach skills of CPR for victims of all ages. This course includes the use of ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, use of an AED and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction. It is intended for participants who provide healthcare to patients in a wide variety of healthcare settings, including but not limited to physicians, nurses, paramedics and emergency medical technicians. Upon the successful completion of this course the participant will receive a course completion card. The length of this course is 6 hours. The cost for this class is $40.00 for Minooka/Channahon residents, and $55.00 for non-residents.

Heartsaver 1st Aid With CPR

The Heartsaver 1st Aid with CPR Course is designed to teach skills of General Principles, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies and Environmental Injuries to all lay rescuers. This course also teaches the skills of CPR and the use of an AED. It is intended for participants who are expected to be first responders to a medical emergency. Upon the successful completion of this course the participant will receive a course completion card. The length of this course is 8 hours. The cost for this class is $50.00 for Minooka/Channahon residents, and $65.00 for non-residents.

CPR for Family and Friends

The C.P.R. for Family and Friends targets all lay rescuers who want to learn rescue skills for loved ones. This course is designed to teach skills of CPR and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction to all lay rescuers. The length of this course is 4 hours. There is no charge for this class.

You may register for classes held at the Channahon Fire Protection District only by using this form.  There is a $4.00 fee to register via mail to cover the cost of shipping as every student must have their class materials prior to the date of the class.  Space is limited, mail in registrations are not guaranteed.  If the class you are registering for is full, your check will not be deposited and will be returned to you.  Registrations may be made in person between the hours of 7AM and 8PM.
