The Channahon Fire Department is made up of full time personnel as well as volunteers. If you are interested in a part time position covering vacation time and other days off, fill out the application and return it to the Fire Department along with a copy of the following:

-IDPH Paramedic License

-Current ACLS Card

-Current Healthcare Provider CPR Card

-Firefighter II or III Certificate issued by the Illinois State Fire Marshall

-Hazardous Materials Certificate (Awareness or Operations) Issued by the State Fire Marshall

CHANNAHON FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT
Channahon Fire Protection District is currently using the COD testing procedure for full-time employment. The applications will be available on March 31, 2008 at www.publicsafetyrecruitment.com at 9:00am. There will be a mandatory orientation for all applicants on May 5, 2008 at College of DuPage, SRC2800 at 7:00pm sharp.
