Artists use images to tell a story by highlighting features such as shape, size, and color. Looking at objects in different points of view allows for new ways of both seeing and understanding. Third and fourth grade Pioneer Path artists explored photography as a medium to communicate important features of the Channahon Fire Protection District with amazing results. The students used iPads to take their pictures. The pictures were then edited back at school using different apps.
Thank you to Channahon School District 17 and staff, 3rd and 4th graders at Pioneer Path School, Mrs. Dubois—Principal, and Mrs. Verbic—Art Teacher for making this year’s calendar possible.
